As !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I’m resurrecting my prior PC build for folding. It’s not exactly a powerhouse but that’s okay. My mom has solar so I’m going to set it up at her place and it can fold 24/7 to make up for that.

Your burner is better than my Linux VM!

I actually originally rebuilt it with Linux earlier today, but for some reason the Linux FAH version couldn’t find my GPU. I then installed Windows and it worked just fine.

I tried to get my mom’s old machine up and folding, but the GPU isn’t supported.

How the hell old is it? FAH is supposed to support hardware as far back as XP-era stuff

The machine is an XP box. The card is an old GeForce card. FAHClient hangs  when it initiates the card. I did some digging and the error it posts is useless, but a forum discussion I found traced it back to the card.

Nice! I’ve still got a GTX 1050 folding for me.
